Cash for Kids Gig Dec 7th ABC1 Glasgow
A GREAT live band should be able to perform to their fullest in all venues no matter how small or large. Simple Minds will have that challenge and more when we finish off our UK tour at the ABC Glasgow, merely a few days after we play the sold out Glasgow SEC in early December.
The former of course is a club gig with a capacity that allows just over 1,000, while the latter is an expansive arena with almost ten times the capacity. The thing they will have in common on the individual nights is the atmosphere, which will be electric when we step on stage, as it always is when we play in front of the passionate audiences that our hometown is world famous for. The other thing that both shows will have in common is our intention to give nothing less than our very best
As a benefit concert the ABC show presents us with the opportunity to work with Radio Clyde on their annual’s Cash for Kids campaign. Within that we would like to encourage and congratulate them and their listeners for their continued efforts that over so many years has raised so much for local children’s charities.
