04 Nov, 2009 GRAFFITI SOUL TOUR BEGINS!
Simple Minds got off to a very solid start to their latest Graffiti Soul tour. The over 2 hours show in Vienna encompassed songs both very old and new, as well as featuring many hit and classic songs that are known and loved world wide.
In total almost a third of the set was given over to songs either never played or not played for quite sometime. In the case of SONS AND FASCINATION/IN TRANCE AS MISSION it is almost three decades since they last featured in the live set. STREETFIGHTING YEARS and LET IT ALL COME DOWN also appeared for the first time in over six years and were greeted with rapturous applause.
The tour moves on next to Italy and will continue through until Christmas.
