Simple Minds are set begin their tour rehearsals this week. Charlie Burchill, Mark Taylor and Andy Gillespie are due to come together for an initial three days work prior to the arrival of Eddy Duffy, Mel Gaynor and Jim Kerr. A full on schedule for the group is expected with no days off between now and the last day of rehearsals on the 28th of January.
In addition to the new songs that were previewed live last year, Simple Minds intend to work on live versions of all the songs from their latest album Black & White 050505. While the focus is on the current material, as the tour progresses Simple Minds will also continue to plough their past song catalogue in choosing songs for this years concerts.
Classics apart, fans can also expect to hear songs from Life In A Day, Real to Real Cacophony, Sons & Fascination, Neapolis, Our Secrets Are The Same.
